Services

Tree Pruning

Tree pruning is a vital service for the health and longevity of your trees, but must be done with purpose and care under the direction of a trained arborist. Whether we prune to trim trees away from your home, driveway, and walkways—protecting your loved ones and your assets—or to remove hazardous dead wood and structural issues: pruning is a crucial aspect of tree maintenance.

Tree Removal

When you find yourself with a tree that needs to be taken down, Summit Arborists can perform tree removals of any size, both safely and efficiently. There are many reasons why a tree may need to be removed: hazard, health decline, overplanting, structural issues, construction, or aesthetics. When we remove your tree, we create an individual work plan with safety first, to protect people and structures, and to ensure minimal impact to your landscaping.

Tree Preservation

Whenever possible, Summit Arborists will work to preserve trees, using a variety of techniques that support the tree’s vitality, structure, and health. The tree preservation process begins with an assessment of health, risk, and an examination for disease or pests. A resulting tree preservation plan can include techniques such as: pruning, cabling, bracing, root collar excavation, or deep root fertilization.

Emergency Services

Tree-related emergencies happen when you least expect it. Storms and high winds, or root failure, can cause trees to fall on your property, or block your roadways. We are available to help 24/7 when tree-related emergencies happen. Not only are we available after hours, but we are also experienced in emergency removals–able to remove trees off of your structure without increasing damage. Call us at (435) 631-9799 for after-hours assistance.

Fire Mitigation

As wildfires increase across Utah in recent years, it has become more important for property owners to assess their landscape and mitigate their fire risks and fuels. Our arborists have worked on large-scale, multi-year fire mitigation programs in The Colony, Summit Park, and Wolf Creek. We can help create a fire mitigation plan at your property, create barriers, and remove fuels around your structures, reducing your fire risk.
